- פּוּמְבְּדִיתָא, פּוּם בְּדִיתָאpr. n. pl. Pumbditha (Mouth of Bditha, v. בְּדִיתָא), seat of a great Jewish academy, in Babylonia. Snh.17b, a. e. סבי דפ׳ the elders (scholars) of P.
